This is the first of the combat application sets, and it trains hand attacks and defences. This set is composed of the following three combat sequences shown in the following video clips: "Immortal Waves Sleeves", "Low Stance Vertical Punch", and "White Snake Shoots Venom".. A video clip showing the same set in some speed can be found here. (Please ignore the background music which happened to be playing while the video was taken.)
