You truly are in my mind and perhaps many others the true embodiment of the Living Bodhisattva.

Dear Sifu,

My training goes well and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Here is a poem I wrote after experiencing satori during daily morning practice.

Here I Stand
Alone
in the darkness
of the morning light,
contemplating nothing.

Here I Stand
Quiet
Breathing in and out,
Birds sing their sweet melody.

Here I Stand
Motionless,
Dawn's magic draws nearer.

Here I Stand
empty.

Here I Stand.
Forever.

With much respect I send to you my deepest heartfelt thanks for the wonderful joy you have helped me attain. You truly are in my mind and perhaps many others the true embodiment of the Living Bodhisattva.

Your Humble Student,
Neil Burden
